The 2024 Convention will be a joint meeting of the B&O Historical Society, GM&O Historical Society, Chessie System Historical Society, and CSXT Historical Societies.

The CSXTHS 2024 convention dates are Thursday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 6th. Presentations will be on Thursday and Friday evenings and all day on Saturday. On Friday, there will be a bus tour of rail related facilities in the St. Louis area and a banquet will be on Saturday evening.
The convention hotel is the Holiday Inn near the airport on 3400 Ridder Trail S., Earth City, MO. For making reservations, call the hotel Reservations Department at the following telephone number: (314)291-6800 or 1(800)465-4329. The code for the sleeping room reservations is BOR. For online reservations, use the hotel's website. Follow the steps to make a reservation and under Rate Preference, select groups and put in the code BOR. The code will bring up the two types of rooms available. Reservations at the group rate are good three days before October 3rd and three days after October 6th. Rooms must be canceled 72 hours before intended date of arrival. The penalty for late cancellation is one night's charge plus tax. The room cost is $134.00 plus 14.99% tax, and it includes a breakfast buffet. I urge everyone to make room reservations early. If we begin to fill the room block this allows increasing the number of rooms in the block.
